6th Session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission Romania – Baden Württemberg

The 6th Session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission Romania – Baden Württemberg was held in Donaueschingen/Stuttgart, on June 6-8, 2010. The meeting was led by the Minsiters of Economy of the two countries: Adriean Videanu and Ernst Pfister.

Following Minister Videanu’s proposition, it was decided that the following Session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission Romania – Baden Württemberg to be held in Tulcea, in the first half of 2011.

Discussions focused on the analysis of the commercial and economic relations of the two parties, based on common interests, both at political and economic level. The participants had a special interest in the development of joint projects within the EU Strategy for the Danube Region, with European grants, in order to reinforce the sectors of infrastructure, conventional and renewable energies, protection of the environment, tourism, professional training and dual education, technologic and competence transfer, cooperation in research and development, protection of national heritage.
