As one subject area, the team of PA 8 in Baden-Wuerttemberg organized a workshop on the EUSDR and its business opportunities.
This workshop was an outstanding opportunity to introduce and promote the EUSDR and participating initiatives from the EUSDR countries to a broad public coming from the business and economy sector. A special focus was put on business opportunities in the Danube Region.
European SME forum on resource efficiency
The SME Forum for „market opportunities through innovative material use“ offers a platform for European SMEs to discover new business partners, state-of-the-art research and best-practice business cases in resource efficiency from Europe and Baden-Württemberg. Besides operative practices, the forum presented opportunities for funding and consulting for SMEs.
The SME Forum was organized by the Enterprise Europe Network Baden-Württemberg, which aims to support the innovation and internationalization capacities of SMEs. Besides the Ministry of Finance and Economics, Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum as well as several chambers of industries and commerce are partners in this network, which is coordinated by Handwerk International.
Participants at the PA8 Working Group were invited to attend this event as there was a strong thematic link to the subjects discussed during the meeting: resource efficiency/ green technology is a major topic in economic policy in the Danube Region
