The EUSDR Annual Forum is the main event of the year for the EU Strategy for the Danube Region, assembling its stakeholders from the whole Danube area to give strategic direction, exchange and showcase opinions and experiences, and discuss vital questions of the Strategy’s prospects and challenges.
More than 700 participants from the public, civil society and business spheres attended the 3rd Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region, hosted by the European Commission and the City of Vienna in co-operation with the Austrian Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs.
With the overall title “We grow together – together we grow”, the Forum discussed how to empower the Danube area and its inhabitants as a prosperous and inclusive region, and focused on:
- inclusive, sustainable growth as a focus and prerequisite of prosperity;
- Multi-stakeholder European policies for an integrated and competitive Danube Region;
- Governance as a criterion of success for the EUSDR;
